Nearly Two Decades of Building Brands,
Before "Content Strategy" Had a Name
I started managing marketing and media for a national fundraising event in 2008, long before "content strategist" was a job title anyone used. Since then I've built digital presences for Olympic athletes, launched brands from nothing, run press campaigns that landed in national magazines, and grown audiences into the tens of thousands, all without ever losing the instinct that good marketing is really just good storytelling. What follows is a selection of that work.


Olympian, Lisa Wilcox
2025 - Present
I manage the complete digital presence of Olympic bronze medalist Lisa Wilcox: I built her website, LisaWilcoxDressage.com, in October 2025, and it now draws 1,600+ unique visitors a month. I grew her social following to 20,000+, including 5,600 on Facebook and a comparable audience on Instagram, and placed her in a luxury feature in Polo DeMarco Magazine, with an upcoming feature in United Airlines' Hemispheres on the way. This is brand-building at the level elite athletes deserve, and it's ongoing work I'm proud to have my name on.
Master Saddler,
Renee Waters
Present
I manage the complete digital presence of Certified Master Saddle Fitter Renee Waters, one of the few fitters in the United States fully certified through the Master Saddlers Association. I built her website, ConnectionSaddleFit.com, from the ground up and direct all social media strategy and content across her platforms. In the first month under my management, her Facebook audience (@CountySaddleryFlorida) grew 25.7%, from 1,900 to 2,389 followers, driven by an education-first content strategy designed to build authority and awareness ahead of sales.

Robert W. Mixon, Jr.
Present
I lead premium content creation (Substack) and LinkedIn strategy for retired U.S. Army Major General Robert W. Mixon, Jr. His engagement and impressions have grown more than 12% since I took over management of his LinkedIn presence. I'm proud to help Robert share his wealth of knowledge and adaptive leadership teachings with the business and leadership professionals who benefit from them.


South Star Select
2020–2021
As Chief Marketing Officer, I led all marketing, brand development, and external communications for South Star Select during its launch phase, a company operating across two very different fronts: a crypto-focused investment fund and an edtech platform. I built the brand identity, positioning, and messaging from the ground up for both sides of the business, designed and executed investor outreach campaigns through HubSpot with automated sequences and engagement tracking across a growing network of accredited investors, and secured strategic partnerships that supported the fund's early performance. The work was featured in Moneywise in July 2020 as a forward-thinking project in digital finance.


Tile & Co.
2020
I built this brand from a blank page. As the founding creative lead, I named the company, designed the original logo, and developed the complete brand identity for what would become a leader in high-end flooring, fixtures, and interiors in Boca Raton, Florida.
Six years later, Tile & Co. is thriving as an industry leader in the luxury interiors space, still operating under the name, logo and identity I created.


Dressage Under The Stars
2008–2019
I founded and led all marketing for a charity event that grew, over more than a decade, into a nationally recognized fixture on the U.S. equestrian calendar. I built the sponsorship strategy from the ground up, secured major corporate partners, and ran the media relations and event branding that took it from a single evening to a fundraising platform that raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for cancer research. This is where I learned that a good cause still needs a great story to find its audience.
